Cynthia (Cindy) Powell is a mixed media artist, whose career has spanned nearly 40 years. Her interests include: mosaic stained glass, all types of painting, designing jewelry, mixed media photography, quilting and experimenting/re-vamping older techniques using today’s materials.

Her mixed media, altered clothing has been published numerous times in several Somerset publications over the past two years. Her 3-D art quilts have toured the world and her passions have led her to teaching on-line workshops on a variety of subjects in 2009.
